Janet’s Loss is made from a vintage Scrabble board game. Letters hang on wire from the tile holder. The score card attached at the side is a real score sheet that recorded Janet’s loss in real time. The words displayed on the board are reminders of how women and their bodies were often refereed to in the 1950s and 1950s, things they did and how they may have talked about themselves.
